The most important in any flight to be safe is fuel in your tanks. This RV6 has two wing tanks plus a rear tank. This gives you 6h endurance at cruising speed. By far this is the best insurance policy.

For those really hungry of miles, a detachable tank can give you another 2 extra endurance hours. Although you will have to travel alone, because this tank is located at passenger seat.
